Setting Up Once Again by EchoesLight Setting Up Once Again by EchoesLight
After almost two years I'm finally able to get back into Windstones! Becoming a new house owner has been rather rough, especially when it takes months to finish the studio and properly unpack. I need to go through several original sculpts before I can think about taking commissions again.

To mark the occasion I would like to release a series of tips with pics on what I've developed to be the slickest workflow and important things to look out for, as well as spark any discussion on tool preferences. Is this something you guys would be interested in? Fav or comment if you are!

I would enjoy tips. I love the way you guys paint but I don't have an airbrush! I'd like to learn some non air brush tips. :D

I'm so happy for you in your new home

Oh my gosh.  I really admire some of your past PYO works and was disappointed not to see any new ones.  Good to see you're getting back into them!

Beautiful work space! I'm  jealous. ( We've been in our house for nearly 8 years and still haven't unpacked. I suspect we never will.)

Aw that's really unfortunate :( Having some selfish time to make your space truly yours is vital to the soul. Are things going smooth on the factory side at least?

Well, hmmm... smooth as usual.  Daily disasters are to be expected. Today, the water is turned off in the storage building because a pipe is broken...

The problem with unpacking is you need a place to put the stuff! The biggest problem is books.  Boxes and boxes of books, and no place to put them. Talking the time to sort through, and get rid of books (that nobody really wants) is too hard. So they stay packed.

Oh lord I know that agony. It took me a good couple full time weeks to weed through my mom's library from 8 tall book shelves down to one and a half. I still have VHS reference videos that needs to be digitally transferred.
